“ Although my house is not so with God, Yet He has made with me an everlasting covenant, Ordered in all things and secure. For this is all my salvation and all my desire; Will He not make it increase?

Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees?But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

And I will delight myself in Your commandments, Which I love.

I have waited for your salvation, O Lord!

I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, If you find my beloved, That you tell him I am lovesick!

For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?I thank God— through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.

Lord, I hope for Your salvation, And I do Your commandments.My soul keeps Your testimonies, And I love them exceedingly.

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure.

Let Your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; For Your law is my delight.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.
