I will sing to the Lord because he is good to me.

For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people.And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God,

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much,that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead.( It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure.“ For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.As the Scriptures say,“ They share freely and give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will be remembered forever.”For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.Yes, you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God.

Loving God means keeping his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome.For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

I am your servant; deal with me in unfailing love, and teach me your decrees.

You have done many good things for me, Lord, just as you promised.

Come and show me your mercy, as you do for all who love your name.

Let my soul be at rest again, for the Lord has been good to me.

And because you belong to him, the power of the life giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.

From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.
