Those who devise wicked schemes are near, but they are far from your law.

Those who think up evil plans are near. They have wandered far away from your law.

They draw near who persecute me with evil purpose; they are far from your law.

Lawless people are coming to attack me; they live far from your instructions.

Seeing you hate instruction And cast My words behind you?

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation,

“ How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge.
