Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria experienced peace and thus was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and in the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, the church increased in numbers.

When he led his people out, they rejoiced; his chosen ones shouted with joy.He handed the territory of nations over to them, and they took possession of what other peoples had produced,so that they might keep his commands and obey his laws. Praise the LORD!

Listen to my cry for help, for I am in serious trouble! Rescue me from those who chase me, for they are stronger than I am.
