Redeem me from human oppression, that I may obey your precepts.

having been rescued from the hand of our enemies, would serve him without fearin holiness and righteousness in his presence all our days.

“ Therefore say,‘ This is what the Lord GOD says: I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.’“ When they arrive there, they will remove all its abhorrent acts and detestable practices from it.I will give them integrity of heart and put a new spirit within them; I will remove their heart of stone from their bodies and give them a heart of flesh,so that they will follow my statutes, keep my ordinances, and practice them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.

I will cleanse you from all your impurities and all your idols.I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.I will place my Spirit within you and cause you to follow my statutes and carefully observe my ordinances.

So the church throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.

He brought his people out with rejoicing, his chosen ones with shouts of joy.He gave them the lands of the nations, and they inherited what other peoples had worked for.All this happened so that they might keep his statutes and obey his instructions. Hallelujah!

Listen to my cry, for I am very weak. Rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.

For you rescued me from death, even my feet from stumbling, to walk before God in the light of life.
