I have not departed from your laws, for you yourself have taught me.

I haven’t turned away from your laws, because you yourself have taught me.

I do not turn aside from your rules, for you have taught me.

I have not turned from your judgments, for you yourself have instructed me.

I have not turned aside from Your judgments, For You Yourself have taught me.

I have not turned aside from thine ordinances; For thou hast taught me.

I do not turn aside from your regulations, for you teach me.

I have not turned away from your ordinances, for you have taught me.

For I have kept the ways of the Lord; I have not turned from my God to follow evil.

Therefore, we never stop thanking God that when you received his message from us, you didn’t think of our words as mere human ideas. You accepted what we said as the very word of God— which, of course, it is. And this word continues to work in you who believe.

So now, my sons, listen to me. Never stray from what I am about to say:

But that isn’t what you learned about Christ.Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him,throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception.Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.Put on your new nature, created to be like God— truly righteous and holy.

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good for them. I will put a desire in their hearts to worship me, and they will never leave me.

But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true— it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.
