所以我們要藉着耶穌、時常將頌讚之祭獻上與上帝：這就是承認他名的嘴脣所結的果子。

他在祭壇的四拐角上作四個角；角和祭壇接連一塊，又用銅把祭壇包上。

但對你們敬畏我名的人、必有義氣之日頭昇現起來照耀你們；它的翅膀、光線、有醫治的效能。你們必騰躍着出來、像出圈的肥牛犢。

所羅門宰獻了他所獻與永恆主的平安祭：是牛二萬二千隻，羊十二萬隻：這樣，王和以色列眾人就為永恆主的殿行了奉獻禮。那一天王將永恆主殿前的院子當中分別為聖，在那裏獻了燔祭、素祭和平安祭牲的脂肪，因為永恆主面前的銅祭壇太小、容不下燔祭、素祭和平安祭牲的脂肪。

眾民看見了，就臉伏於地，說：『永恆主才是上帝！永恆主才是上帝！』

他必使你的理直如光發出，使你的案件明如中午。

你要在祭壇的四拐角上作四個角；角要和祭壇接連一塊：要用銅把壇包上。

起來，發光哦！因為你的光已經來到，永恆主的榮耀已經昇現照耀着你。

因為我犯罪得罪了永恆主，永恆主的震怒、我必擔受，直到他為我的案件而伸訴，他維護我的權利；那時他必領我出去、到亮光中，我就得見他的義氣。

求你依你的恩悅善待錫安，修造耶路撒冷的城牆。那時你就喜愛正對的祭、燔祭和全燔祭；那時人就將公牛獻於你的祭壇上。

以利亞湊近眾民面前，說：『你們猶豫於兩可之間、要到幾時呢？如果永恆主是上帝，你們就應該隨從永恆主；如果巴力是上帝，你們就隨從巴力好啦。』眾民一句話也不回答。

第二天他們向永恆主獻祭，也向永恆主獻上燔祭；那一天共獻了公牛一千隻、公綿羊一千隻、羊羔一千隻、以及和這些祭牲同獻的奠祭、並為以色列眾人宰獻的許多祭。
