所羅門獻平安祭於主、牛二萬二千、羊十二萬、如是王偕以色列人眾、在主殿行告成禮、主殿前之銅祭臺小、不能容火焚祭與素祭及平安祭牲之脂、故當日王以主殿前院之中、區別為聖、在彼獻火焚祭與素祭及平安祭牲之脂、

民眾見此、則俯伏曰、主誠天主矣、主誠天主矣、

主必彰顯爾之是、如光之明、表白爾之義、如日中天、

於祭臺之四隅作四角、角須與臺接連、俱蔽之以銅、

爾起而發光、爾之光明已臨、主之榮光燭照於爾、

我因獲罪於主、受主之盛怒、待主為我伸冤、為我辨屈、導我入於光明、使我見其仁慈、

求主施恩於郇邑、建立耶路撒冷之城垣、彼時主必悅納人秉虔誠所獻之祭、與火焚祭並燬牲之祭、燬牲之祭或作全牲之祭彼時人必以牡牛獻於主之祭壇、

以利亞至民眾前曰、爾曹心持二意、何時乃己、如以主為天主、則從主、如以巴力為天主、則從巴力、民不答一言、

明日獻平安祭與火焚祭於主、即牡犢一千、牡羊一千、羔羊一千、並循所獻之犧牲奠酒、又為以色列人別獻多祭、
