眾民看見了，就俯伏在地，說：「耶和華是神！耶和華是神！」

他要使你的公義如光發出，使你的公平明如正午。

興起，發光！因為你的光已經來到！耶和華的榮耀發現照耀你。

我要忍受耶和華的惱怒；因我得罪了他，直等他為我辨屈，為我伸冤。他必領我到光明中；我必得見他的公義。

求你隨你的美意善待錫安，建造耶路撒冷的城牆。那時，你必喜愛公義的祭和燔祭並全牲的燔祭；那時，人必將公牛獻在你壇上。

以利亞前來對眾民說：「你們心持兩意要到幾時呢？若耶和華是神，就當順從耶和華；若巴力是神，就當順從巴力。」眾民一言不答。

次日，他們向耶和華獻平安祭和燔祭，就是獻公牛一千隻，公綿羊一千隻，羊羔一千隻，並同獻的奠祭；又為以色列眾人獻許多的祭。那日，他們在耶和華面前吃喝，大大歡樂。
