但必有公义的太阳为你们这些敬畏我名的人升起，它的光芒有医治的能力。你们必像栏中出来的牛犊一样欢欣跳跃。

众人看见这情景，都俯伏在地高呼：“耶和华是上帝！耶和华是上帝！”

求你恩待锡安，重建耶路撒冷的城墙。那时，你必悦纳诚心献上的祭物、燔祭和全牲燔祭，人们必把公牛献在你的坛上。

以利亚走到众人面前说：“你们三心二意要到什么时候呢？如果耶和华是上帝，你们当跟从祂；如果巴力是上帝，你们就跟从他吧！”他们都默不作声。

次日，他们向耶和华献祭。他们代表全以色列献上一千头公牛、一千只公绵羊、一千只羊羔作燔祭，同时还献上奠祭及许多其他祭。
