Then I called on the name of the Lord:“ Please, Lord, save me!”

那時，我呼求耶和華的名，說：“耶和華啊！求你拯救我。”

我便呼求永恆主的名，說：『哦，永恆主啊，搭救我的性命哦！』

那時我呼求耶和華的名：「哦，耶和華啊，求你救我的靈魂！」

我則呼籲耶和華名曰、耶和華歟、求爾救援我魂兮、

我禱耶和華曰、爾其救我兮。

我禱告主名、曰、求主救我生命、

竭聲呼主名。除主復誰怙。

Then I called on the name of the Lord:“ Lord, save me!”

Then I called out to the Lord. I cried out,“ Lord, save me!”

Then I called on the name of the Lord:“ O Lord, I pray, deliver my soul!”

Then I called on the name of the LORD:“ LORD, save me!”

Then I called upon the name of the Lord:“ Please, Lord, save my life!”

Then I called upon the name of the Lord:“ O Lord, I implore You, deliver my soul!”

Then called I upon the name of Jehovah: O Jehovah, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

Then I called on the name of Yahweh:“ Yahweh, save me!”

Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

I called on the name of the LORD,“ Please LORD, rescue my life!”

Then I called on Yahweh’s name:“ Yahweh, I beg you, deliver my soul.”

In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free.

Save me from the sword; spare my precious life from these dogs.

I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain. InterludeCome quickly, Lord, and answer me, for my depression deepens. Don’t turn away from me, or I will die.Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you.Rescue me from my enemies, Lord; I run to you to hide me.

I look for someone to come and help me, but no one gives me a passing thought! No one will help me; no one cares a bit what happens to me.Then I pray to you, O Lord. I say,“ You are my place of refuge. You are all I really want in life.Hear my cry, for I am very low. Rescue me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me.

And Hezekiah prayed this prayer before the Lord:“ O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, God of Israel, you are enthroned between the mighty cherubim! You alone are God of all the kingdoms of the earth. You alone created the heavens and the earth.Bend down, O Lord, and listen! Open your eyes, O Lord, and see! Listen to Sennacherib’s words of defiance against the living God.“ It is true, Lord, that the kings of Assyria have destroyed all these nations.And they have thrown the gods of these nations into the fire and burned them. But of course the Assyrians could destroy them! They were not gods at all— only idols of wood and stone shaped by human hands.Now, O Lord our God, rescue us from his power; then all the kingdoms of the earth will know that you alone, O Lord, are God.”

Then he said,“ Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.”And Jesus replied,“ I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

But while in deep distress, Manasseh sought the Lord his God and sincerely humbled himself before the God of his ancestors.And when he prayed, the Lord listened to him and was moved by his request. So the Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!

But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.

In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.

Return, O Lord, and rescue me. Save me because of your unfailing love.

For troubles surround me— too many to count! My sins pile up so high I can’t see my way out. They outnumber the hairs on my head. I have lost all courage.Please, Lord, rescue me! Come quickly, Lord, and help me.

My problems go from bad to worse. Oh, save me from them all!

About that time Hezekiah became deathly ill, and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to visit him. He gave the king this message:“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Set your affairs in order, for you are going to die. You will not recover from this illness.’”When Hezekiah heard this, he turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord,“ Remember, O Lord, how I have always been faithful to you and have served you single mindedly, always doing what pleases you.” Then he broke down and wept bitterly.

My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why are you so far away when I groan for help?Every day I call to you, my God, but you do not answer. Every night I lift my voice, but I find no relief.Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.

Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory.”

Your favor, O Lord, made me as secure as a mountain. Then you turned away from me, and I was shattered.I cried out to you, O Lord. I begged the Lord for mercy, saying,

“ But the tax collector stood at a distance and dared not even lift his eyes to heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in sorrow, saying,‘ O God, be merciful to me, for I am a sinner.’

From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for your help.Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.

and Jesus and his disciples were also invited to the celebration.
