The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth.He grants the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cries for help and rescues them.

Turn your ear to listen to me; rescue me quickly. Be my rock of protection, a fortress where I will be safe.

I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry.

Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up.

Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord; hear my urgent cry.I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble, and you will answer me.

But I will call on God, and the Lord will rescue me.Morning, noon, and night I cry out in my distress, and the Lord hears my voice.

Can they take delight in the Almighty? Can they call to God at any time?

O Lord, God of my salvation, I cry out to you by day. I come to you at night.
