The LORD is near all who call out to him, all who call out to him with integrity.He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry for help and saves them.

Listen closely to me; rescue me quickly. Be a rock of refuge for me, a mountain fortress to save me.

I waited patiently for the LORD, and he turned to me and heard my cry for help.

Devote yourselves to prayer; stay alert in it with thanksgiving.

Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Now he told them a parable on the need for them to pray always and not give up.

LORD, hear my prayer; listen to my cries for mercy.I call on you in the day of my distress, for you will answer me.

But I call to God, and the LORD will save me.I complain and groan morning, noon, and night, and he hears my voice.

Will he delight in the Almighty? Will he call on God at all times?

LORD, God of my salvation, I cry out before you day and night.
