When you do this, you are announcing the Lord’s death until he comes again.Eat the bread or drink the cup of the Lord in the right way. Don’t do it in a way that isn’t worthy of him. If you do, you will be guilty. You’ll be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.

We give thanks for the cup at the Lord’s Supper. When we do, aren’t we sharing in the blood of Christ? When we break the bread, aren’t we sharing in the body of Christ?

After Jesus took the cup, he gave thanks. He said,“ Take this cup and share it among yourselves.I tell you, I will not drink wine with you again until God’s kingdom comes.”

Lord, I will sacrifice a thank offering to you. I will worship you.
