I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord.

In the same way He also took the cup after supper, saying,“ This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy way, shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord.

Is the cup of blessing which we bless not a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is the bread which we break not a sharing in the body of Christ?

And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He said,“ Take this and share it among yourselves;for I say to you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.”

I will offer You a sacrifice of thanksgiving, And call upon the name of the Lord.
