I had faith when I said,“ I am severely oppressed.”

我因信，所以如此说话；“我受了极大的困苦。”

我虽然说：“我受了极大的痛苦”，但我仍然相信。

尽管我曾说：“我受了极大的苦待”，尽管我曾在慌乱中说：“所有的人都是说谎的”，我仍然相信。

我因信，所以如此說話；我受了極大的困苦。

我信，儘管我說：「我受了極大的困苦。」

我雖然說：“我受了極大的痛苦”，但我仍然相信。

我雖說過：『我受了極大苦難』，我仍繼續相信；

儘管我曾說：「我受了極大的苦待」，儘管我曾在慌亂中說：「所有的人都是說謊的」，我仍然相信。

我因信而言此、我遭大難兮、

我信而言也、我甚迫切兮、

我雖云極受苦難、我仍然信賴、

昔在患難中。自言陷絕境。

I trusted in the Lord when I said,“ I am greatly afflicted”;

I trusted in the Lord even when I said to myself,“ I am in great pain.”

I believed, even when I spoke:“ I am greatly afflicted”;

I believed in you, so I said,“ I am deeply troubled, Lord.”

I believed, even when I said,“ I am severely oppressed.”

I believed when I said,“ I am greatly afflicted.”

I believed, therefore I spoke,“ I am greatly afflicted.”

I believe, for I will speak: I was greatly afflicted:

I believed, even when I said,“ I am severely afflicted.”

I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

I believed, therefore I said,“ I was greatly afflicted.”

But since we have the same spirit of faith as that shown in what has been written,“ I believed; therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see.

A lying witness will perish, but the one who reports accurately speaks forever.

for no prophecy was ever borne of human impulse; rather, men carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.

And Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, two of those who had investigated the land, tore their garments.They said to the whole community of the Israelites,“ The land we passed through to investigate is an exceedingly good land.If the LORD delights in us, then he will bring us into this land and give it to us– a land that is flowing with milk and honey.Only do not rebel against the LORD, and do not fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. For we did not follow cleverly concocted fables when we made known to you the power and return of our Lord Jesus Christ; no, we were eyewitnesses of his grandeur.
