The heavens are the LORD’s, but the earth he has given to the human race.

天，是耶和华的天；地，他却给了世人。

天上之明宮、屬於耶和華、彼以天下、賜之於人兮。

天乃主之天、主將地賜之於人、

天為主之天兮。而授人以塵世。

The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to mankind.

You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet:

God blessed them, and God said to them,“ Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that crawls on the earth.”God also said,“ Look, I have given you every seed-bearing plant on the surface of the entire earth and every tree whose fruit contains seed. This will be food for you,for all the wildlife of the earth, for every bird of the sky, and for every creature that crawls on the earth— everything having the breath of life in it— I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.

When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance and divided the human race, he set the boundaries of the peoples according to the number of the people of Israel.

God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them,“ Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.The fear and terror of you will be in every living creature on the earth, every bird of the sky, every creature that crawls on the ground, and all the fish of the sea. They are placed under your authority.Every creature that lives and moves will be food for you; as I gave the green plants, I have given you everything.

LORD, part your heavens and come down. Touch the mountains, and they will smoke.

This is what the LORD says: Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool. Where could you possibly build a house for me? And where would my resting place be?

You will pursue them in anger and destroy them under your heavens.

Praise him, highest heavens, and you waters above the heavens.

In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
