这是为了让亚伯拉罕所蒙的祝福，能在基督耶稣里临到外邦人，好使我们能藉着信领受所应许的圣灵。

雅各啊，以色列啊，你要记住这些，因为你是我的仆人。我造了你，你是我的仆人；以色列啊，你不会被我忘记！

只是分辨善恶树上的果实，你不可吃，因为在吃的日子，你必定死。”耶和华神又说：“那人孤身不好，我要为他造一个合适的帮助者。”

神要祝福我们；所有的地极都要敬畏他。

不要记念我年幼时的罪恶和我的过犯；耶和华啊，求你因着你的美善，按着你的慈爱记念我！

而且，如果你们属于基督，你们就是亚伯拉罕的后裔，是照着应许的继承人。
