我們主耶穌基督的父神是應當稱頌的。他在基督裡，曾經把天上各種屬靈的福分賜給我們：

他在我們卑微的時候顧念我們，因為他的慈愛永遠長存。

我必使你成為大國，賜福給你，使你的名為大，你也必使別人得福，給你祝福的，我必賜福給他；咒詛你的，我必咒詛他；地上的萬族，都必因你得福。”

但錫安說：“耶和華離棄了我，我的主忘記了我。”婦人怎能忘記她吃奶的嬰孩，不憐憫她親生的兒子呢？即使她們可能忘記，我也不會忘記你。看哪！我已經把你刻在我的掌上；你的城牆常常在我面前。

神顧念挪亞和所有與他一同在方舟裡的走獸和牲畜；神使風吹過大地，水就漸漸退了。

神先給你們興起他的僕人，差他來祝福你們，使你們各人回轉，離開邪惡。”

這樣，亞伯拉罕所蒙的福，就在耶穌基督裡臨到外族人，使我們因著信，可以領受所應許的聖靈。

雅各和以色列啊！要記念這些話，因為你是我的僕人。我造了你，是要你作我的僕人；以色列啊！你必不會被我忘記。

只是那知善惡樹的果子，你不可吃；因為你吃的時候，你必要死。”耶和華神說：“那人獨居不好，我要為他造個和他相配的幫手。”

神要賜福給我們，全地都要敬畏他。

神聽見他們的呼聲，就記念他與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的約。神看顧以色列人，也關注他們。

求你不要記念我幼年的罪惡和我的過犯；耶和華啊！求你因你的恩惠，按著你的慈愛記念我。

如果你們屬於基督，就是亞伯拉罕的後裔，是按照應許承受產業的了。

他定睛一看，害怕起來，說：“主啊，甚麼事？”天使說：“你的禱告和善行，已經達到神面前，蒙他記念了。
