但錫安說：「耶和華撇棄了我，主把我忘了。」耶和華說：「母親豈能忘記自己吃奶的嬰兒，不憐憫自己親生的孩子？就算有母親忘記，我也不會忘記你。看啊，我已經把你銘刻在我的手掌上，你的牆垣在我的看顧之下。

上帝眷顧挪亞及方舟裡的野獸和牲畜，使風吹在大地上，水便開始消退。

上帝興起祂的僕人，首先差遣祂到你們中間賜福給你們，使你們脫離罪惡。」

這樣，賜給亞伯拉罕的祝福可以藉著基督耶穌臨到外族人，使我們也可以藉著信得到上帝應許賜給我們的聖靈。

「雅各啊，以色列啊，要記住這些事，因為你是我的僕人。我造了你，你是我的僕人；以色列啊，我不會忘記你。

只是不可吃那棵分別善惡樹的果子，因為你若吃了，當天必死。」耶和華上帝說：「那人獨自一人不好，我要為他造一個相配的幫手。」

上帝要賜福我們，普天下都要敬畏祂。

上帝聽見他們的哀聲，顧念從前跟亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的約，就垂顧他們，體恤他們。

求你饒恕我年輕時的罪惡和過犯，以你的恩惠和慈愛待我。

你們若屬於基督，就是亞伯拉罕的後裔，都是照著上帝的應許承受產業的人。

哥尼流驚恐地注視著他，問：「主啊，什麼事？」天使回答說：「你的禱告和賙濟窮人的善行已經在上帝面前蒙悅納。
