Ascribe to the LORD the splendor he deserves! Bring an offering and enter his courts!

O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, pay attention, and act! Don’t delay, for your own sake, O my God! For your city and your people are called by your name.”

the twenty- four elders throw themselves to the ground before the one who sits on the throne and worship the one who lives forever and ever, and they offer their crowns before his throne, saying:“ You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, since you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created!”

When the Canaanites and all who live in the land hear about this, they will turn against us and destroy the very memory of us from the earth. What will you do to protect your great reputation?”

May he reign forever before God! Decree that your loyal love and faithfulness should protect him.

You will be loyal to Jacob and extend your loyal love to Abraham, which you promised on oath to our ancestors in ancient times.

For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God’s truth to confirm the promises made to the fathers,and thus the Gentiles glorify God for his mercy. As it is written,“ Because of this I will confess you among the Gentiles, and I will sing praises to your name.”

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came about through Jesus Christ.

Rise up, O God! Defend your honor! Remember how fools insult you all day long!
