the twenty-four elders fall down before the one seated on the throne and worship the one who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne and say,Our Lord and God, you are worthy to receive glory and honor and power, because you have created all things, and by your will they exist and were created.

When the Canaanites and all who live in the land hear about this, they will surround us and wipe out our name from the earth. Then what will you do about your great name?”

May he sit enthroned before God forever. Appoint faithful love and truth to guard him.

For I say that Christ became a servant of the circumcised on behalf of God’s truth, to confirm the promises to the fathers,and so that Gentiles may glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles, and I will sing praise to your name.

for the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
