When Israel came out of Egypt, Jacob from a people of foreign tongue,

The people of Israel came out of Egypt. The people of Jacob left a land where a different language was spoken.

When Israel went out from Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language,

When the Israelites escaped from Egypt— when the family of Jacob left that foreign land—

When Israel came out of Egypt— the house of Jacob from a people who spoke a foreign language—

When Israel went forth from Egypt, The house of Jacob from a people of a foreign language,

This he ordained in Joseph[ for] a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt:[ where] I heard a language[ that] I understood not.

And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this[ place]: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

And they knew not that Joseph understood[ them]; for he spake unto them by an interpreter.

And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.It[ is] a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this[ is] that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.

And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.

I[ am] the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:
