On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot.

主將網羅、烈火、硫磺、熱風、降於惡人之身、此乃惡人當得之報、

賢良蒙鍛鍊。所以玉其成。惟彼兇與暴。乃為主所憎。

He will pour out flaming coals and burning sulfur on those who do what is wrong. A hot and dry wind will destroy them.

Let him rain coals on the wicked; fire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.

He will rain down blazing coals and burning sulfur on the wicked, punishing them with scorching winds.

Let him rain burning coals and sulfur on the wicked; let a scorching wind be the portion in their cup.

He will rain coals of fire upon the wicked, And brimstone and burning wind will be the portion of their cup.

May the LORD rain down burning coals and brimstone on the wicked! A whirlwind is what they deserve!

I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him.

When he has filled his belly, God will vent his burning anger against him and rain down his blows on him.

Samuel said to the cook,“ Bring the piece of meat I gave you, the one I told you to lay aside.”

He turned their rain into hail, with lightning throughout their land;

Terror and pit and snare await you, people of the earth.Whoever flees at the sound of terror will fall into a pit; whoever climbs out of the pit will be caught in a snare. The floodgates of the heavens are opened, the foundations of the earth shake.

Awake, awake! Rise up, Jerusalem, you who have drunk from the hand of the Lord the cup of his wrath, you who have drained to its dregs the goblet that makes people stagger.

You will be filled with shame instead of glory. Now it is your turn! Drink and let your nakedness be exposed! The cup from the Lord’s right hand is coming around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory.

This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, said to me:“ Take from my hand this cup filled with the wine of my wrath and make all the nations to whom I send you drink it.When they drink it, they will stagger and go mad because of the sword I will send among them.”So I took the cup from the Lord’s hand and made all the nations to whom he sent me drink it:

Jesus commanded Peter,“ Put your sword away! Shall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?”

At that time this people and Jerusalem will be told,“ A scorching wind from the barren heights in the desert blows toward my people, but not to winnow or cleanse;a wind too strong for that comes from me. Now I pronounce my judgments against them.”

When portions were served to them from Joseph’s table, Benjamin’s portion was five times as much as anyone else’s. So they feasted and drank freely with him.

When Moses stretched out his staff toward the sky, the Lord sent thunder and hail, and lightning flashed down to the ground. So the Lord rained hail on the land of Egypt;hail fell and lightning flashed back and forth. It was the worst storm in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation.
