For look, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart.

Look! Evil people are bending their bows. They are placing their arrows against the strings. They are planning to shoot from the shadows at those who have honest hearts.

for behold, the wicked bend the bow; they have fitted their arrow to the string to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart;

The wicked are stringing their bows and fitting their arrows on the bowstrings. They shoot from the shadows at those whose hearts are right.

For look, the wicked string bows; they put their arrows on bowstrings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart.

For, behold, the wicked bend the bow, They have set their arrow on the string To shoot in darkness at the upright in heart.

For look! The wicked bend their bow, They make ready their arrow on the string, That they may shoot secretly at the upright in heart.

他們彎了舌頭像弓一樣；在這地得勢的是虛假、不是忠信；因為他們是出於壞而歸於壞的，連我、他們也不認識：永恆主發神諭說。

惡人拔刀拉弓，要打倒困苦貧窮的人，要屠宰行徑正直的人；

他們使舌頭尖銳如刀，比準了他們的箭，就是苦毒的話，要在暗地裏射純全的人，突然地射，也不懼怕。他們堅執着壞念頭，計算着要埋藏網羅，說：『誰能看見它，

到了天亮，猶太人訂了一個密約，起了誓，非等到殺死保羅、不喫也不喝。訂這陰謀的有四十多人。這些人去見祭司長和長老，說：『我們曾經起了誓，非等到殺死保羅，甚麼也不喫。所以你們那方面、連同議院、如今要知會千夫長，叫他將保羅帶下來到你們這裏，好像要更詳確而察考他、的樣子；我們呢、在他還未走近之先、早已準備好了可以把他殺掉。』

他在村莊裏埋伏等候着；他在藏匿處殺害無辜的人。他的眼潛伏窺看窮而無告者；他埋伏於藏匿處，如獅子於叢藪中；他埋伏要擄拿困苦人；一拉困苦人入網，就把他擄去。

掃羅心裏說：『我要將這女兒給大衛、去餌誘他，好使非利士人的手能夠害他。』於是掃羅對大衛說：『你今天就可以由第二個女兒來做我的女婿了。』

一同計議，要用詭計抓住耶穌，殺他。

我的盾牌是在於上帝，那拯救心裏正直的人的。

由於驕橫、惡人把困苦人追得火急；願他們在自己設的計謀裏被捉住。

義人哪，你們要因永恆主而歡喜快樂；心裏正直的人哪，你們都要歡呼。

人若不回轉，上帝必將他的刀磨快，將他的弓拉緊，準備好好。

願義人因永恆主而歡喜，並避難於他裏面；願心裏正直的人都以他為誇耀。

大衛知道掃羅設毒計要害他，就對祭司亞比亞他說：『將神諭像拿近前來。』

因為公道的判斷總要重歸於義人；心裏正直的人都要跟着公義而行。

因為我心靈使我發昏。但是你、只有你知道我的路徑；在我走的路上、敵人埋藏了機檻要害我。

永恆主啊，求你善待那些行善和心裏正直的人。

有亮光撒播給義人；有喜樂散布給心裏正直的。
