群小張讒口。向我弄詭譎。

Sinful people who lie and cheat have spoken against me. They have used their tongues to tell lies about me.

For wicked and deceitful mouths are opened against me, speaking against me with lying tongues.

You love every harmful word, you deceitful tongue!

haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood,

Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.

Friend deceives friend, and no one speaks the truth. They have taught their tongues to lie; they weary themselves with sinning.

For I hear many whispering,“ Terror on every side!” They conspire against me and plot to take my life.

Let their lying lips be silenced, for with pride and contempt they speak arrogantly against the righteous.

“ They make ready their tongue like a bow, to shoot lies; it is not by truth that they triumph in the land. They go from one sin to another; they do not acknowledge me,” declares the Lord.

They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.They shoot from ambush at the innocent; they shoot suddenly, without fear.

The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for false evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death.But they did not find any, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally two came forwardand declared,“ This fellow said,‘ I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus,“ Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?”

Save me, Lord, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues.What will he do to you, and what more besides, you deceitful tongue?

They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent’s; the poison of vipers is on their lips.

The heart of the righteous weighs its answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes evil.
