惡人與詭詐者、啟口攻我、以欺誑之舌語我兮、

惡人詭詐、厥口孔張、譭謗予兮、

因惡人與奸詐人張口以攻我、向我所言皆誑、

群小張讒口。向我弄詭譎。

for people who are wicked and deceitful have opened their mouths against me; they have spoken against me with lying tongues.

Sinful people who lie and cheat have spoken against me. They have used their tongues to tell lies about me.

For wicked and deceitful mouths are opened against me, speaking against me with lying tongues.

while the wicked slander me and tell lies about me.

For wicked and deceitful mouths open against me; they speak against me with lying tongues.

For they have opened a wicked and deceitful mouth against me; They have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful Have opened against me; They have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit have they opened against me: They have spoken unto me with a lying tongue.

For wicked and deceitful mouths open against me; they speak against me with lying tongues.

For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

for they have opened the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit against me. They have spoken to me with a lying tongue.

You love to use all the words that destroy, and the tongue that deceives.

haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

The one who tells the truth will endure forever, but the one who lies will last only for a moment.

One friend deceives another and no one tells the truth. These people have trained themselves to tell lies. They do wrong and are unable to repent.

For I hear what so many are saying, the terrifying news that comes from every direction. When they plot together against me, they figure out how they can take my life.

They brought forward false witnesses who said,“ This man does not stop saying things against this holy place and the law.

Absalom would then say to him,“ Look, your claims are legitimate and appropriate. But there is no representative of the king who will listen to you.”Absalom would then say,“ If only they would make me a judge in the land! Then everyone who had a judicial complaint could come to me and I would make sure he receives a just settlement.”When someone approached to bow before him, Absalom would extend his hand and embrace him and kiss him.Absalom acted this way toward everyone in Israel who came to the king for justice. In this way Absalom won the loyalty of the citizens of Israel.After four years Absalom said to the king,“ Let me go and repay my vow that I made to the LORD while I was in Hebron.For I made this vow when I was living in Geshur in Aram:‘ If the LORD really does allow me to return to Jerusalem, I will serve the LORD.’”

May lying lips be silenced– lips that speak defiantly against the innocent with arrogance and contempt!

The LORD says,“ These people are like soldiers who have readied their bows. Their tongues are always ready to shoot out lies. They have become powerful in the land, but they have not done so by honest means. Indeed, they do one evil thing after another and do not pay attention to me.

They sharpen their tongues like a sword; they aim their arrow, a slanderous charge,in order to shoot down the innocent in secluded places. They shoot at him suddenly and are unafraid of retaliation.

The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were trying to find false testimony against Jesus so that they could put him to death.But they did not find anything, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally two came forwardand declared,“ This man said,‘ I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”So the high priest stood up and said to him,“ Have you no answer? What is this that they are testifying against you?”

I said,“ O LORD, rescue me from those who lie with their lips and those who deceive with their tongue.How will he severely punish you, you deceptive talker?

Ahithophel said to Absalom,“ Let me pick out twelve thousand men. Then I will go and pursue David this very night.

Their tongues wound like a serpent; a viper’s venom is behind their lips.( Selah)

The heart of the righteous considers how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked pours out evil things.
