He wore cursing as his garment; it entered into his body like water, into his bones like oil.

They cursed others as easily as they put on clothes. Cursing was as natural to them as getting a drink of water or putting olive oil on their bodies.

今則宜去一切忿怒、暴戾、狠毒、謗讟、穢言、

人子將逝、如經所載、惟賣人子者禍矣、其人不生為幸、

我以義為衣、以公為袍為冕、

俾得與於此役、及使徒之職、猶大已由之墮落、而往己地矣、

斯人以不義之償購田、身仆、腹裂、其腸突流、

邪慝雖甘於口中、藏於舌底、愛戀不舍、久含於口、其食至腹則變、成為虺膽於中、彼吞貨財、必吐之、上帝使之出於其腹、必吸虺之毒、蝮舌必殺之、

幼宜服長、爾曹謙以自束、互相服役、蓋上帝拒驕泰者、賜恩卑遜者、

以其中心無厭、故所悅者、無一存留、所遺無不吞噬、故其昌盛弗久、當富有充裕時、必遭艱窘、困苦之人、咸加手於其身、彼將果腹、上帝降以烈怒、食時雨於厥躬、
