於是他們在急難中喊求永恆主援救他們脫離他們的窘迫；

於是他們在危難中向耶和華呼求，他就解救他們脫離困境；

患難之時、呼籲耶和華、遂援之於困苦兮、

患難之時、呼籲耶和華、蒙其援手兮、

在急難時哀求主、主乃救之脫於禍患、

山窮水盡。惟求主恩。

並要在患難之日求告我，我必搭救你，你也要榮耀我。」

於是他們在急難中哀求耶和華，他就拯救他們脫離禍患。

你們呼求我，向我禱告，我就應允你們。你們尋求我，若專心尋求我，就必尋見。我必被你們尋見，也必使你們被擄的人歸回。這是耶和華說的。我必將你們從各國和我趕你們到的各處召集過來，又將你們帶回我使你們被擄離開的地方。這是耶和華說的。

他若求告我，我就應允他；他在急難中，我與他同在；我要搭救他，使他尊貴。

於是他們在急難中哀求耶和華，他就領他們脫離禍患。

弟兄們，我們不要你們不知道，我們從前在亞細亞遭遇苦難，因受到無法忍受的壓力，甚至連活命的指望都沒有了。自己心裏也斷定是必死無疑，這是要使我們不依靠自己，只依靠使死人復活的上帝。他曾救我們脫離那極大的死亡，他要繼續救我們，而且我們指望他將來還要救我們。

因為我們的大祭司並非不能體恤我們的軟弱；他也在各方面受過試探，與我們一樣，只是他沒有犯罪。所以，我們只管坦然無懼地來到施恩的寶座前，為要得憐憫，蒙恩惠，作及時的幫助。

我要去，我要回到原處，等他們自覺有罪，尋求我的面；急難時他們必切切尋求我。

以及我在安提阿、以哥念、路司得所遭遇的迫害和苦難。我忍受了何等的迫害！但從這一切苦難中，主都把我救了出來。

於是他們在急難中哀求耶和華，他就拯救他們脫離禍患。

困苦貧窮人尋找水，卻尋不着；他們因口渴，舌頭乾燥。我－耶和華必應允他們，我－以色列的上帝必不離棄他們。我要在光禿的高地開江河，在谷中開泉源；我要使沙漠變為水池，使乾地變為湧泉。

為了這事，我曾三次求主使這根刺離開我。他對我說：「我的恩典是夠你用的，因為我的能力是在人的軟弱上顯得完全。」所以，我更喜歡誇耀自己的軟弱，好使基督的能力覆庇我。為基督的緣故，我以軟弱、凌辱、艱難、迫害、困苦為可喜樂的事；因為我甚麼時候軟弱，甚麼時候就剛強了。
