Then they cried out to the Lord because of their problems. And he saved them from their troubles.

在急難時哀求主、主乃救之脫於禍患、

哀哀求主。賜其康復。

I looked to the Lord, and he answered me. He saved me from everything I was afraid of.Those who look to him have joyful faces. They are never covered with shame.This poor man called out, and the Lord heard him. He saved him out of all his troubles.

Every time God killed some of them, the others would seek him. They gladly turned back to him again.They remembered that God was their Rock. They remembered that God Most High had set them free.

Lord, I called out to you. I cried to you for mercy.I said,“ What good will come if I become silent in death? What good will come if I go down into the grave? Can the dust of my dead body praise you? Can it tell how faithful you are?Lord, hear me. Have mercy on me. Lord, help me.”You turned my loud crying into dancing. You removed my clothes of sadness and dressed me with joy.So my heart will sing your praises. I can’t keep silent. Lord, my God, I will praise you forever.

Call out to me. I will answer you. I will tell you great things you do not know. And unless I do, you wouldn’t be able to find out about them.”

Then I called out to the Lord. I cried out,“ Lord, save me!”The Lord is holy and kind. Our God is full of tender love.The Lord takes care of those who are not aware of danger. When I was in great need, he saved me.I said to myself,“ Be calm. The Lord has been good to me.”Lord, you have saved me from death. You have dried the tears from my eyes. You have kept me from tripping and falling.
