謂摩西曰、爾導我出死在曠野、得毋因伊及地無墓乎、爾導我出伊及、何為待我若是、我儕在伊及時、豈不語爾云、毋擾我、容我役事伊及人、與其死於曠野、甯為伊及人服役、

不思念主曾施大能、不思念往時主曾救之脫離仇敵、

爾當追憶昔爾在伊及地為奴、乃主爾之天主救贖爾、故我今日以此諭爾、

斯民失謀、毫無聰明、願其有智以明此、預思厥終、

及種種惑眾之邪惡、在將沈淪者之中、蓋彼眾不悅真理、且不受之而得救、故天主使其大謬、信從虛偽、使凡不信真理反悅不義者、悉被定罪、○

雖使人懷憂、必憑大仁慈、加以矜恤、

惟彼不知不悟、目塗不見、心蔽不明、

然至今日、主尚未賜爾心能明、目能見、耳能聽、

我讚主之仁慈、頌揚主、因主大施矜憫、發仁慈、恩待我儕、施洪恩於以色列族、

使其視而不明、聞而不悟、免其悔改、而罪得赦、

向其追念己約、回心轉意、大發仁慈、

忘主之作為、及主在其眼前所行之奇事、

主之僕人亞伯拉罕之後裔、主所選雅各之子孫、

惟我蒙主之大恩慈、進主之殿敬畏主、向主之聖殿下拜、

求天主按主之恩惠矜恤我、以主大憐憫、塗抹我之愆尤、

故爾曹當記憶、爾按本身昔為異邦人、彼稱為受割禮之人、即身受手行之割禮者、譏爾曹未受割禮、

耶穌知之、曰、爾以無餅而議乎、爾猶不悟不明乎、爾心尚頑乎、爾有目不視乎、有耳不聽乎、亦不憶乎、我擘五餅分五千人、爾拾餘屑盈幾筐、對曰、十二、又七餅分四千人、爾拾餘屑盈幾籃、對曰、七、遂語之曰、然則何不悟乎、○

曰、爾拙者悅於拙、侮慢者樂於侮慢、愚者厭惡知識、將至何時、
