主虽使人忧愁，还要照他诸般的慈爱发怜悯。

他们不知道，也不思想；因为耶和华闭住他们的眼，不能看见，塞住他们的心，不能明白。

但耶和华到今日没有使你们心能明白，眼能看见，耳能听见。

我要照耶和华一切所赐给我们的，提起他的慈爱和美德，并他向以色列家所施的大恩；这恩是照他的怜恤和丰盛的慈爱赐给他们的。

叫他们看是看见，却不晓得；听是听见，却不明白；恐怕他们回转过来，就得赦免。”

为他们记念他的约，照他丰盛的慈爱后悔。

又忘记他所行的和他显给他们奇妙的作为。

他仆人亚伯拉罕的后裔，他所拣选雅各的子孙哪，你们要记念他奇妙的作为和他的奇事，并他口中的判语。

至于我，我必凭你丰盛的慈爱进入你的居所；我必存敬畏你的心向你的圣殿下拜。

神啊，求你按你的慈爱怜恤我！按你丰盛的慈悲涂抹我的过犯！

所以你们应当记念：你们从前按肉体是外邦人，是称为没受割礼的；这名原是那些凭人手在肉身上称为受割礼之人所起的。

耶稣看出来，就说：“你们为什么因为没有饼就议论呢？你们还不省悟，还不明白吗？你们的心还是愚顽吗？你们有眼睛，看不见吗？有耳朵，听不见吗？也不记得吗？我擘开那五个饼分给五千人，你们收拾的零碎装满了多少篮子呢？”他们说：“十二个。”“又擘开那七个饼分给四千人，你们收拾的零碎装满了多少筐子呢？”他们说：“七个。”耶稣说：“你们还是不明白吗？”

说：“你们愚昧人喜爱愚昧，亵慢人喜欢亵慢，愚顽人恨恶知识，要到几时呢？
