他為他們的緣故記念他自己的約，照著他豐盛的慈愛回心轉意。

他們忘記了神的作為，和他顯給他們看的奇事。

記念他所作的奇事、他的神蹟，和他口裡的判詞。

至於我，我必憑著你豐盛的慈愛，進入你的殿；我要存著敬畏你的心，向你的聖所敬拜。

神啊！求你按著你的慈愛恩待我，照著你豐盛的憐憫塗抹我的過犯。

你們應當記得，你們從前按肉體來說是外族人；那些所謂在肉體上受過人手所行的割禮的人，稱你們為未受割禮的。

耶穌知道了，就說：“為甚麼議論沒有餅這件事呢？你們還不知道，還不明白嗎？你們的心還是這麼遲鈍嗎？你們有眼不能看，有耳不能聽嗎？你們不記得嗎？我擘開那五個餅給五千人吃，你們收拾的零碎裝滿了幾個籃子呢？”他們說：“十二個。”“那七個餅分給四千人吃，你們收拾的零碎裝滿了幾個大籃子呢？”他們說：“七個。”耶穌說：“你們還不明白嗎？”
