叫他们‘看是看见了，却不领悟，听是听见了，却不明白，免得他们回转过来，得到赦免。’”

他为他们的缘故记念他自己的约，照着他丰盛的慈爱回心转意。

他们忘记了神的作为，和他显给他们看的奇事。

记念他所作的奇事、他的神迹，和他口里的判词。

至于我，我必凭着你丰盛的慈爱，进入你的殿；我要存着敬畏你的心，向你的圣所敬拜。

神啊！求你按着你的慈爱恩待我，照着你丰盛的怜悯涂抹我的过犯。

你们应当记得，你们从前按肉体来说是外族人；那些所谓在肉体上受过人手所行的割礼的人，称你们为未受割礼的。

耶稣知道了，就说：“为什么议论没有饼这件事呢？你们还不知道，还不明白吗？你们的心还是这么迟钝吗？你们有眼不能看，有耳不能听吗？你们不记得吗？我擘开那五个饼给五千人吃，你们收拾的零碎装满了几个篮子呢？”他们说：“十二个。”“那七个饼分给四千人吃，你们收拾的零碎装满了几个大篮子呢？”他们说：“七个。”耶稣说：“你们还不明白吗？”

“你们愚蒙人喜爱愚蒙，好讥笑的人喜欢讥笑，愚昧人恨恶知识，要到几时呢？
