Therefore the anger of the Lord was kindled against His people, And He loathed His inheritance.

於是耶和華忿怒其民、厭惡己業兮、

於是耶和華奮怒、痛疾厥民兮、

主乃向百姓發怒、厭棄己民、

大主發怒。厭惡斯族。

Therefore the Lord was angry with his people and abhorred his inheritance.

So the Lord became angry with his people. He turned away from his own children.

Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people, and he abhorred his heritage;

That is why the Lord’s anger burned against his people, and he abhorred his own special possession.

Therefore the LORD’s anger burned against his people, and he abhorred his own inheritance.

Therefore the wrath of the Lord was kindled against His people, So that He abhorred His own inheritance.

So the LORD was angry with his people and despised the people who belong to him.

Then the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and He handed them over to plunderers, and they plundered them; and He sold them into the hands of their enemies around them, so that they could no longer stand against their enemies.

Yet they are Your people, and Your inheritance, whom You brought out by Your great power and Your outstretched arm.’

“ The Lord saw this, and spurned them Because of the provocation by His sons and daughters.

Furthermore, you shall not follow the customs of the nation which I am going to drive out before you, because they did all these things; therefore I have felt disgust for them.

Then I did away with the three shepherds in one month, for my soul was impatient with them, and their soul also was tired of me.

Therefore You handed them over to their enemies who oppressed them, But when they cried out to You in the time of their distress, You heard from heaven, and according to Your great compassion You gave them people who saved them from the hand of their enemies.But as soon as they had rest, they did evil again before You; Therefore You abandoned them to the hand of their enemies, so that they ruled over them. When they cried out again to You, You heard from heaven, And many times You rescued them according to Your compassion,And admonished them in order to turn them back to Your Law. Yet they acted arrogantly and did not listen to Your commandments but sinned against Your ordinances, Which, if a person follows them, then he will live by them. And they turned a stubborn shoulder and stiffened their neck, and would not listen.However, You remained patient with them for many years, And admonished them by Your Spirit through Your prophets, Yet they would not listen. Therefore You handed them over to the peoples of the lands.Nevertheless, in Your great compassion You did not make an end of them or abandon them, For You are a gracious and compassionate God.“ Now then, our God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who keeps His covenant and faithfulness, Do not let all the hardship seem insignificant before You, Which has happened to us, our kings, our leaders, our priests, our prophets, our fathers, and to all Your people, From the days of the kings of Assyria to this day.However, You are righteous in everything that has happened to us; For You have dealt faithfully, but we have acted wickedly.For our kings, our leaders, our priests, and our fathers have not kept Your Law Or paid attention to Your commandments and Your admonitions with which You have admonished them.But they, in their own kingdom, With Your great goodness which You gave them, With the broad and rich land which You placed before them, Did not serve You or turn from their evil deeds.Behold, we are slaves today, And as for the land which You gave to our fathers to eat its fruit and its bounty, Behold, we are slaves on it.And its abundant produce is for the kings Whom You have set over us because of our sins; They also rule over our bodies And over our cattle as they please, So we are in great distress.“ Now because of all this We are making an agreement in writing; And on the sealed document are the names of our leaders, our Levites, and our priests.”

Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against Israel, so that He sold them into the hand of Cushan rishathaim, king of Mesopotamia; and the sons of Israel served Cushan rishathaim for eight years.

God, why have You rejected us forever? Why does Your anger smoke against the sheep of Your pasture?

When God heard them, He was filled with wrath And He utterly rejected Israel;So that He abandoned the dwelling place at Shiloh, The tent which He had pitched among people,And He gave up His strength to captivity And His glory into the hand of the enemy.He also turned His people over to the sword, And was filled with wrath at His inheritance.

The Lord has rejected His altar, He has repudiated His sanctuary; He has handed over The walls of her palaces to the enemy. They have made a noise in the house of the Lord As on the day of an appointed feast.

So the anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and He said,“ Because this nation has violated My covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not listened to My voice,
