He brought out his people with rejoicing, his chosen ones with shouts of joy;

His chosen people shouted for joy as he brought them out of Egypt.

So he brought his people out with joy, his chosen ones with singing.

So he brought his people out of Egypt with joy, his chosen ones with rejoicing.

He brought his people out with rejoicing, his chosen ones with shouts of joy.

He brought out His people with joy, His chosen ones with gladness.

And he brought forth his people with joy, And his chosen with singing.

When he led his people out, they rejoiced; his chosen ones shouted with joy.

But He led His own people out like sheep, And guided them in the wilderness like a flock;He led them safely, so that they did not fear; But the sea engulfed their enemies.

Nevertheless He saved them for the sake of His name, So that He might make His power known.So He rebuked the Red Sea and it dried up, And He led them through the mighty waters, as through the wilderness.So He saved them from the hand of one who hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.The waters covered their adversaries; Not one of them was left.Then they believed His words; They sang His praise.

Then His people remembered the days of old, of Moses. Where is He who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit in the midst of them,Who caused His glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses, Who divided the waters before them to make for Himself an everlasting name,Who led them through the depths? Like the horse in the wilderness, they did not stumble;Like the cattle which go down into the valley, The Spirit of the Lord gave them rest. So You led Your people, To make for Yourself a glorious name.

This man led them out, performing wonders and signs in the land of Egypt and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness for forty years.

Was it not You who dried up the sea, The waters of the great deep; Who made the depths of the sea a pathway For the redeemed to cross over?And the redeemed of the Lord will return And come to Zion with joyful shouting, And everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, And sorrow and sighing will flee away.

For you will go out with joy And be led in peace; The mountains and the hills will break into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

The God of this people Israel chose our fathers and made the people great during their stay in the land of Egypt, and with an uplifted arm He led them out from it.

For the Lord has ransomed Jacob And redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he.“ They will come and shout for joy on the height of Zion, And they will be radiant over the bounty of the Lord— Over the grain, the new wine, the oil, And over the young of the flock and the herd. And their life will be like a watered garden, And they will never languish again.

Because He loved your fathers, He chose their descendants after them. And He personally brought you from Egypt by His great power,driving out from before you nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you in and to give you their land as an inheritance, as it is today.

Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to the Lord, saying:“ I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted; The horse and its rider He has hurled into the sea.The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.The Lord is a warrior; The Lord is His name.Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He has thrown into the sea; And the choicest of his officers are drowned in the Red Sea.The waters cover them; They went down into the depths like a stone.Your right hand, Lord, is majestic in power; Your right hand, Lord, destroys the enemy.And in the greatness of Your excellence You overthrow those who rise up against You; You send out Your burning anger, and it consumes them like chaff.At the blast of Your nostrils the waters were piled up, The flowing waters stood up like a heap; The depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.The enemy said,‘ I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoils; I shall be satisfied against them; I will draw my sword, my hand will destroy them.’You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; They sank like lead in the mighty waters.Who is like You among the gods, Lord? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, Awesome in praises, working wonders?You reached out with Your right hand, The earth swallowed them.In Your faithfulness You have led the people whom You have redeemed; In Your strength You have guided them to Your holy habitation.The peoples have heard, they tremble; Anguish has gripped the inhabitants of Philistia.Then the chiefs of Edom were terrified; The leaders of Moab, trembling grips them; All the inhabitants of Canaan have despaired.Terror and dread fall upon them; By the greatness of Your arm they are motionless as stone, Until Your people pass over, Lord, Until the people pass over whom You have purchased.You will bring them and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, The place, Lord, which You have made as Your dwelling, The sanctuary, Lord, which Your hands have established.The Lord shall reign forever and ever.”For the horses of Pharaoh with his chariots and his horsemen went into the sea, and the Lord brought back the waters of the sea on them, but the sons of Israel walked on dry land through the midst of the sea.Miriam the prophetess, Aaron’s sister, took the tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dancing.And Miriam answered them,“ Sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted; The horse and his rider He has hurled into the sea.”

And the redeemed of the Lord will return And come to Zion with joyful shouting, And everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain gladness and joy, And sorrow and sighing will flee away.
