On the third day it was Pharaoh’s birthday, so he gave a feast for all his servants. He“ lifted up” the head of the chief cupbearer and the head of the chief baker in the midst of his servants.He restored the chief cupbearer to his former position so that he placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand,

The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD like channels of water; he turns it wherever he wants.

Then Joseph said to Pharaoh,“ Both dreams of Pharaoh have the same meaning. God has revealed to Pharaoh what he is about to do.

You are my king, O God! Decree Jacob’s deliverance!

As for me, this mystery was revealed to me not because I possess more wisdom than any other living person, but so that the king may understand the interpretation and comprehend the thoughts of your mind.
