It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens.

Many, Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us; There is no one to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, They would be too numerous to count.

Oh, the depth of the riches, both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!

“ The Lord created me at the beginning of His way, Before His works of old.From eternity I was established, From the beginning, from the earliest times of the earth.When there were no ocean depths, I was born, When there were no springs abounding with water.Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills, I was born;While He had not yet made the earth and the fields, Nor the first dust of the world.When He established the heavens, I was there; When He inscribed a circle on the face of the deep,When He made firm the skies above, When the springs of the deep became fixed,When He set a boundary for the sea So that the water would not violate His command, When He marked out the foundations of the earth;Then I was beside Him, as a master workman; And I was His delight daily, Rejoicing always before Him,Rejoicing in the world, His earth, And having my delight in the sons of mankind.“ Now then, sons, listen to me, For blessed are those who keep my ways.Listen to instruction and be wise, And do not neglect it.Blessed is the person who listens to me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at my doorposts.For one who finds me finds life, And obtains favor from the Lord.But one who sins against me injures himself; All those who hate me love death.”

so that the multifaceted wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places.

You alone are the Lord. You have made the heavens, The heaven of heavens with all their lights, The earth and everything that is on it, The seas and everything that is in them. You give life to all of them, And the heavenly lights bow down before You.

The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains, The world, and those who live in it.

For every animal of the forest is Mine, The cattle on a thousand hills.I know every bird of the mountains, And everything that moves in the field is Mine.If I were hungry I would not tell you, For the world is Mine, and everything it contains.

Then God said,“ Let the earth produce living creatures according to their kind: livestock and crawling things and animals of the earth according to their kind”; and it was so.God made the animals of the earth according to their kind, and the livestock according to their kind, and everything that crawls on the ground according to its kind; and God saw that it was good.

And God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

To Him who made the heavens with skill, For His faithfulness is everlasting;

When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have set in place;

They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, And for His wonders to the sons of mankind!

which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight

Who does great and unsearchable things, Wonders without number.

Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.

The Lord founded the earth by wisdom, He established the heavens by understanding.By His knowledge the ocean depths were burst open, And the clouds drip with dew.

You have crowned the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with fatness.

Then God said,“ Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees on the earth bearing fruit according to their kind with seed in them”; and it was so.The earth produced vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their kind, and trees bearing fruit with seed in them, according to their kind; and God saw that it was good.
