生草萊以飼六畜、備菜蔬以供人需、俾穀產於地兮、

He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate— bringing forth food from the earth:

又曰、遍地結實之菜蔬、懷核之樹果、我予汝以為食、至地上走獸、空中飛鳥、暨動於地上之生物、我賜之青草以為食、有如此也、

眾目惟爾是望、隨時爾給以食兮、爾展厥手、以饜羣生之欲兮、

麀鹿產子於野、因無草而遺之、野驢立於童山、喘若野犬、因無芻而目昏、○

霑足荒田、滋殖草萊、

耶和華上帝使地生諸樹、觀可娛目、食可適口、當囿之中、有生命之樹、及別善惡之樹、

是以樹者灌者無足數、惟長之之上帝而已、

亞哈謂俄巴底曰、遍巡斯土、至諸水泉溪澗、或得芻蕘、以救騾馬、免喪羣畜、

爾時野無草木、田間蔬菜未生、蓋耶和華上帝未降雨於地、亦無人耕之、

汝耕田、地不復効力、爾必流離於地、
