and he said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his eyes, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon thee, which I have put upon the Egyptians: for I am Jehovah that healeth thee.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Heal me, O Jehovah, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

O Jehovah my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

Jehovah will support him upon the couch of languishing: Thou makest all his bed in his sickness.I said, O Jehovah, have mercy upon me: Heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins( he saith to the sick of the palsy),I say unto thee, Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thy house.

He healeth the broken in heart, And bindeth up their wounds.

And Moses cried unto Jehovah, saying, Heal her, O God, I beseech thee.

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake; and I will not remember thy sins.

and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him.

And Jesus seeing their faith saith unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins are forgiven.

Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

Fools because of their transgression, And because of their iniquities, are afflicted.Their soul abhorreth all manner of food; And they draw near unto the gates of death.Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, And he saveth them out of their distresses.He sendeth his word, and healeth them, And delivereth them from their destructions.Oh that men would praise Jehovah for his lovingkindness, And for his wonderful works to the children of men!And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, And declare his works with singing.

And he will redeem Israel From all his iniquities.

And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against Jehovah. And Nathan said unto David, Jehovah also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

And behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, be of good cheer; thy sins are forgiven.And behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?For which is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and walk?But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins( then saith he to the sick of the palsy), Arise, and take up thy bed, and go unto thy house.

And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

And the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against Jehovah, and against thee; pray unto Jehovah, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.And Jehovah said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a standard: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he seeth it, shall live.And Moses made a serpent of brass, and set it upon the standard: and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked unto the serpent of brass, he lived.

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: According to the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.For I know my transgressions; And my sin is ever before me.

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.Blessed is the man unto whom Jehovah imputeth not iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no guile.When I kept silence, my bones wasted away Through my groaning all the day long.For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: My moisture was changed as with the drought of summer.[ SelahI acknowledged my sin unto thee, And mine iniquity did I not hide: I said, I will confess my transgressions unto Jehovah; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin.[ Selah

O Jehovah, rebuke me not in thy wrath; Neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.For thine arrows stick fast in me, And thy hand presseth me sore.There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine indignation; Neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin.For mine iniquities are gone over my head: As a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.My wounds are loathsome and corrupt, Because of my foolishness.I am pained and bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.For my loins are filled with burning; And there is no soundness in my flesh.

keeping lovingkindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.

An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him; And now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.
