How can I repay the LORD for all his acts of kindness to me?

I will tell of the faithful acts of the LORD, of the LORD’s praiseworthy deeds. I will tell about all the LORD did for us, the many good things he did for the family of Israel, because of his compassion and great faithfulness.

Recall the miraculous deeds he performed, his mighty acts and the judgments he decreed,

Then one of them, when he saw he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice.He fell with his face to the ground at Jesus’ feet and thanked him.( Now he was a Samaritan.)Then Jesus said,“ Were not ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?Was no one found to turn back and give praise to God except this foreigner?”

Is this how you repay the LORD, you foolish, unwise people? Is he not your father, your creator? He has made you and established you.

But Hezekiah was ungrateful; he had a proud attitude, provoking God to be angry at him, as well as Judah and Jerusalem.

They rejected the God who delivered them, the one who performed great deeds in Egypt,

Our ancestors in Egypt failed to appreciate your miraculous deeds, they failed to remember your many acts of loyal love, and they rebelled at the sea, by the Red Sea.

Who is this who comes from Edom, dressed in bright red, coming from Bozrah? Who is this one wearing royal attire, who marches confidently because of his great strength?“ It is I, the one who announces vindication, and who is able to deliver!”

Therefore remember that formerly you, the Gentiles in the flesh– who are called“ uncircumcision” by the so- called“ circumcision” that is performed on the body by human hands–that you were at that time without the Messiah, alienated from the citizenship of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.But now in Christ Jesus you who used to be far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

You have forgotten the Rock who fathered you, and put out of mind the God who gave you birth.

Remember the whole way by which he has brought you these forty years through the desert so that he might, by humbling you, test you to see if you have it within you to keep his commandments or not.So he humbled you by making you hungry and then feeding you with unfamiliar manna. He did this to teach you that humankind cannot live by bread alone, but also by everything that comes from the LORD’s mouth.Your clothing did not wear out nor did your feet swell all these forty years.

You will eat your fill and then praise the LORD your God because of the good land he has given you.Be sure you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping his commandments, ordinances, and statutes that I am giving you today.When you eat your fill, when you build and occupy good houses,when your cattle and flocks increase, when you have plenty of silver and gold, and when you have abundance of everything,be sure you do not feel self-important and forget the LORD your God who brought you from the land of Egypt, the place of slavery,

be careful not to forget the LORD who brought you out of Egypt, that place of slavery.

You people of this generation, listen to what the LORD says.“ Have I been like a wilderness to you, Israel? Have I been like a dark and dangerous land to you? Why then do you say,‘ We are free to wander. We will not come to you any more?’Does a young woman forget to put on her jewels? Does a bride forget to put on her bridal attire? But my people have forgotten me for more days than can even be counted.
