人能敬主。必蒙青睞。父之憐子。尚有不逮。

As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;

A father is tender and kind to his children. In the same way, the Lord is tender and kind to those who have respect for him.

As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.

The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.

As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.

Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.

As a father pities his children, So the Lord pities those who fear Him.

Like as a father pitieth his children, So Jehovah pitieth them that fear him.

You have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children,“ My son, don’t take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him;for whom the Lord loves, he disciplines, and chastises every son whom he receives.”It is for discipline that you endure. God deals with you as with children, for what son is there whom his father doesn’t discipline?But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not children.Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?For they indeed, for a few days, punished us as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he a darling child? For as often as I speak against him, I still earnestly remember him. therefore my heart yearns for him. I will surely have mercy on him,” says Yahweh.

But Yahweh’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children,

for whom Yahweh loves, he corrects, even as a father reproves the son in whom he delights.

“ Which of you fathers, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he won’t give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?Or if he asks for an egg, he won’t give him a scorpion, will he?

Then those who feared Yahweh spoke one with another; and Yahweh listened, and heard, and a book of memory was written before him, for those who feared Yahweh, and who honored his name.They shall be mine,” says Yahweh of Armies,“ my own possession in the day that I make, and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.

The son said to him,‘ Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’“ But the father said to his servants,‘ Bring out the best robe, and put it on him. Put a ring on his hand, and sandals on his feet.

They will come with weeping. I will lead them with petitions. I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they won’t stumble; for I am a father to Israel. Ephraim is my firstborn.

For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

Look down from heaven, and see from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory. Where are your zeal and your mighty acts? The yearning of your heart and your compassion is restrained toward me.For you are our Father, though Abraham doesn’t know us, and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, Yahweh, are our Father. Our Redeemer from everlasting is your name.

Yahweh takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness.

Have I conceived all this people? Have I brought them out, that you should tell me,‘ Carry them in your bosom, as a nurse carries a nursing infant, to the land which you swore to their fathers?’

Brothers, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, the word of this salvation is sent out to you.

All these were cities fortified with high walls, gates, and bars, in addition to a great many villages without walls.

Pray like this:‘ Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy.

But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out, and leap like calves of the stall.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him.

Jesus said to her,“ Don’t hold me, for I haven’t yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them,‘ I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
