For the Lord will rebuild Zion and appear in his glory.

“ Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the Lord will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you.

The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the outcasts of Israel.

You evict the women of My people, Each one from her pleasant house. From her children you take My splendor forever.

By Your favor do good to Zion; Build the walls of Jerusalem.

This is the plan devised against the entire earth; and this is the hand that is stretched out against all the nations.

All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered to you, The rams of Nebaioth will serve you; They will go up on My altar with acceptance, And I will glorify My glorious house.

To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The cloak of praise instead of a disheartened spirit. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

The heavens declare His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His glory.

“ For I know their works and their thoughts; the time is coming to gather all the nations and tongues. And they shall come and see My glory.

I will build you again and you will be rebuilt, Virgin of Israel! You will take up your tambourines again, And go out to the dances of the revelers.

Now it will come about that In the last days The mountain of the house of the Lord Will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it.And many peoples will come and say,“ Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; So that He may teach us about His ways, And that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go out from Zion And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

For God will save Zion and build the cities of Judah, So that they may live there and possess it.

And I will restore the fortunes of Judah and the fortunes of Israel, and will rebuild them as they were at first.

“ You there! Flee from the land of the north,” declares the Lord,“ because I have spread you out like the four winds of the heavens,” declares the Lord.“ You, Zion! Escape, you who are living with the daughter of Babylon.”For the Lord of armies says this:“ After glory He has sent me against the nations that plunder you, for the one who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.For behold, I am going to wave My hand over them so that they will be plunder for their slaves. Then you will know that the Lord of armies has sent Me.Shout for joy and rejoice, daughter of Zion; for behold I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,” declares the Lord.“ And many nations will join themselves to the Lord on that day and will become My people. Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that the Lord of armies has sent Me to you.And the Lord will possess Judah as His portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.“ Be silent, all mankind, before the Lord; for He has roused Himself from His holy dwelling.”
