是的，你的僕人們喜悅錫安的石頭，愛慕她的塵土。

爾僕悅其石、而惜其土兮、

即其瓦礫、爾僕亦悅之、即其塵沙、爾僕亦愛之兮。

主之僕人、喜悅郇之石、珍愛郇之塵土、

吾主必興起。愍我西溫卑。西溫卑已極。蒙寵宜今茲。

For her stones are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity.

The stones of your destroyed city are priceless to us. Even its dust brings deep concern to us.

For your servants hold her stones dear and have pity on her dust.

For your people love every stone in her walls and cherish even the dust in her streets.

For your servants take delight in its stones and favor its dust.

Surely Your servants take pleasure in her stones, And feel pity for her dust.

Indeed, your servants take delight in her stones, and feel compassion for the dust of her ruins.

He spoke before his brothers and the army of Samaria, and said,“ What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they fortify themselves? Will they sacrifice? Will they finish in a day? Will they revive the stones out of the heaps of rubbish, since they are burned?”

God, the nations have come into your inheritance. They have defiled your holy temple. They have laid Jerusalem in heaps.

So we built the wall; and all the wall was joined together to half its height: for the people had a mind to work.

If I forget you, Jerusalem, let my right hand forget its skill.Let my tongue stick to the roof of my mouth if I don’t remember you, if I don’t prefer Jerusalem above my chief joy.

They said to me,“ The remnant who are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.”

Then the heads of fathers’ households of Judah and Benjamin, the priests, and the Levites, all whose spirit God had stirred to go up rose up to build Yahweh’s house which is in Jerusalem.

When the seventh month had come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.Then Jeshua the son of Jozadak stood up with his brothers the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and his brothers, and built the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings on it, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.In spite of their fear because of the peoples of the surrounding lands, they set the altar on its base; and they offered burnt offerings on it to Yahweh, even burnt offerings morning and evening.

Blessed be Yahweh, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify Yahweh’s house which is in Jerusalem;

Then I said to them,“ You see the bad situation that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come, let’s build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we won’t be disgraced.”

for they have devoured Jacob, and destroyed his homeland.Don’t hold the iniquities of our forefathers against us. Let your tender mercies speedily meet us, for we are in desperate need.Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name. Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake.Why should the nations say,“ Where is their God?” Let it be known among the nations, before our eyes, that vengeance for your servants’ blood is being poured out.

Lord, according to all your righteousness, let your anger and please let your wrath be turned away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain; because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people have become a reproach to all who are around us.

Judah said,“ The strength of the bearers of burdens is fading, and there is much rubble; so that we are not able to build the wall.”

I said to the king,“ Let the king live forever! Why shouldn’t my face be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers’ tombs, lies waste, and its gates have been consumed with fire?”
