He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry for help and saves them.

Then I thought,“ My future is lost, as well as my hope from the LORD.”Remember my affliction and my homelessness, the wormwood and the poison.I continually remember them and have become depressed.

Happy is one who is considerate of the poor; the LORD will save him in a day of adversity.The LORD will keep him and preserve him; he will be blessed in the land. You will not give him over to the desire of his enemies.

Be gracious to me, God, be gracious to me, for I take refuge in you. I will seek refuge in the shadow of your wings until danger passes.I call to God Most High, to God who fulfills his purpose for me.He reaches down from heaven and saves me, challenging the one who tramples me. Selah God sends his faithful love and truth.

I remember this as I pour out my heart: how I walked with many, leading the festive procession to the house of God, with joyful and thankful shouts.

Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before him. God is our refuge. Selah
