From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

In my distress I called upon Jehovah, And cried unto my God: He heard my voice out of his temple, And my cry before him came into his ears.

And it came to pass in the course of those many days, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.

Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even unto heaven.

Yea, when I cry, and call for help, he shutteth out my prayer.

Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; My heart within me is desolate.

I pour out my complaint before him; I show before him my trouble.When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, Thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walk Have they hidden a snare for me.

And they put away the foreign gods from among them, and served Jehovah; and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.

Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God; For unto thee do I pray.

Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Jehovah.Lord, hear my voice: Let thine ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.

Give ear to my prayer, O God; And hide not thyself from my supplication.Attend unto me, and answer me: I am restless in my complaint, and moan,Because of the voice of the enemy, Because of the oppression of the wicked; For they cast iniquity upon me, And in anger they persecute me.My heart is sore pained within me: And the terrors of death are fallen upon me.Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, And horror hath overwhelmed me.

He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him; He also will hear their cry and will save them.

And I said, My strength is perished, and mine expectation from Jehovah.Remember mine affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is bowed down within me.

Blessed is he that considereth the poor: Jehovah will deliver him in the day of evil.Jehovah will preserve him, and keep him alive, And he shall be blessed upon the earth; And deliver not thou him unto the will of his enemies.

Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me; For my soul taketh refuge in thee: Yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I take refuge, Until these calamities be overpast.I will cry unto God Most High, Unto God that performeth all things for me.He will send from heaven, and save me, When he that would swallow me up reproacheth;[ Selah God will send forth his lovingkindness and his truth.

These things I remember, and pour out my soul within me, How I went with the throng, and led them to the house of God, With the voice of joy and praise, a multitude keeping holyday.

Trust in him at all times, ye people; Pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us.[ Selah

And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly amazed, and sore troubled.And he saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful even unto death: abide ye here, and watch.

Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy, Now will I arise, saith Jehovah; I will set him in the safety he panteth for.

I remember God, and am disquieted: I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed.[ Selah
