我目觀國中誠實人、使在我左右、行動正直者、方許服事我、

惟願求賢良。與我共國事。簡拔忠實徒。充我心腹吏。

My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me.

I will look with favor on the faithful people in the land. They will live with me. Those whose lives are without blame will serve me.

I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me.

Then I heard a loud voice from the throne: Look, God’s dwelling is with humanity, and he will live with them. They will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them and will be their God.

I am a friend to all who fear you, to those who keep your precepts.

Let everyone submit to the governing authorities, since there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are instituted by God.So then, the one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves.For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the one in authority? Do what is good, and you will have its approval.For it is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, because it does not carry the sword for no reason. For it is God’s servant, an avenger that brings wrath on the one who does wrong.

Blessed is that servant whom the master finds doing his job when he comes.Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

“ Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master has put in charge of his household, to give them food at the proper time?

“ Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they will see my glory, which you have given me because you loved me before the world’s foundation.

Not that I have already reached the goal or am already perfect, but I make every effort to take hold of it because I also have been taken hold of by Christ Jesus.Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead,I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly call in Christ Jesus.Therefore, let all of us who are mature think this way. And if you think differently about anything, God will reveal this also to you.

When the wicked come to power, people hide, but when they are destroyed, the righteous flourish.

who despises the one rejected by the LORD but honors those who fear the LORD, who keeps his word whatever the cost,

When the righteous flourish, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, people groan.

If anyone serves me, he must follow me. Where I am, there my servant also will be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

How happy are those whose way is blameless, who walk according to the LORD’s instruction!Happy are those who keep his decrees and seek him with all their heart.They do nothing wrong; they walk in his ways.

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry for help.

See! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.“ To the one who conquers I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.

If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, so that where I am you may be also.
