I will be careful to lead a blameless life— when will you come to me? I will conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart.

I will be careful to lead a life that is without blame. When will you come and help me? In my own home I will lead a life that is without blame.

I will ponder the way that is blameless. Oh when will you come to me? I will walk with integrity of heart within my house;

我的眼目向著地上忠實的人，好讓他們與我一起居住；走在完全道路上的人，他必事奉我。

耶和華啊，求你快快回應我，我的靈衰竭了！不要向我隱藏你的臉，免得我與下陰坑的人一樣。求你使我在清晨聽見你慈愛的聲音，因為我依靠你；求你使我明白我當走的道路，因為我的靈魂仰望你。

大衛在他一切的道路上都通達，因為耶和華與他同在。掃羅見他行事極其通達，就懼怕他。

亞希米勒回答王說：「在你所有的臣僕中，有誰像大衛那樣忠誠呢？他是王的女婿，又是你的侍衛長，在你家中受尊重。

因為我揀選了他，是要他吩咐他的子孫和後代家族謹守我耶和華的道路，施行公義和公正；好讓我耶和華對亞伯拉罕所說的都應驗在他身上。」

說：「哦，耶和華啊，求你記念我在你面前怎樣以誠實和完全的心行事，又做你眼中看為善的事！」然後，希西加就痛哭起來。

大衛作王統治全以色列，大衛為所有百姓實行公正和公義。
