Like lions crouched in hiding, they wait to pounce on the helpless. Like hunters they capture the helpless and drag them away in nets.

他们像急于撕碎猎物的饿狮，又像蹲伏在暗处的猛狮。

看啊，他们要暗害我。耶和华啊，我并未犯罪作恶，凶残的人却攻击我。

虔敬人已从大地上灭绝，世间再没有正直人。人人伺机杀人流血，用网罗猎取自己的弟兄。

我从心底发出赞叹：耶和华啊，谁能像你？你拯救弱者免受欺压，拯救穷人免遭掠夺。

他们的军队如旋风而至，要驱散我们，他们以暗中吞噬贫民为乐，但你用他们的矛刺透他们的头颅。

如果是雇工，不是牧人，羊也不是他的，狼一来，他必撇下羊逃命。狼就会抓住羊，把羊群驱散。

如今那狮子的洞穴，那喂养壮狮的地方在哪里呢？从前，雄狮、母狮和幼狮曾在那里出入，无人惊扰。雄狮为幼狮撕碎充足的食物，为母狮掐死猎物，洞穴里堆满猎物，堆满撕碎的肉。

靠压榨穷人敛财和送礼给富人的，都必穷困潦倒。

你们践踏穷人，对他们横征暴敛。因此，你们用凿过的石头建房，却不得居住在里面；你们种植佳美的葡萄园，却喝不到葡萄酒。我知道你们的过犯众多、罪恶无数。你们迫害义人，收受贿赂，在城门口冤枉穷人。

迦勒底人用钩子钩住他们，用渔网网住他们，用拖网把他们聚在一起，并因此而欢喜快乐。

上帝拯救穷苦人脱离恶人的中伤，脱离残暴之徒的辖制，好使贫寒之人有盼望，使不义之徒哑口无言。

耶和华说：“以色列人三番四次地犯罪，我必不收回对他们的惩罚，因为他们为了银子卖掉义人，为了一双鞋子卖掉穷人。他们践踏穷人如同践踏地上的尘土，使卑微的人无处申冤；父子同淫一女，亵渎我的圣名。

耶和华说：“我要保护受欺压的困苦人和哀叹的贫穷人，使他们如愿以偿。”

祂像埋伏的巨熊，又像伺机突袭的猛狮，

若非捕到猎物，狮子怎会在林中咆哮呢？若非猎获食物，猛狮怎会在洞中吼叫呢？

傲慢人在我的路上暗设网罗，布下圈套，挖了陷阱。（细拉）

恶棍们手段邪恶，用阴谋诡计和谎言毁灭困苦的人，即使穷人的诉求有理也是枉然。

听啊，牧人在哀号，因为他们肥美的草场已被毁坏。听啊，狮子在吼叫，因为约旦河畔的丛林已被毁坏。

你们为何压榨我的子民，虐待贫穷人？”这是主——万军之耶和华说的。

欺压穷人等于侮辱造物主，怜悯贫弱就是尊敬造物主。

她养大一只幼狮，使它成为雄壮的狮子。它学会了捕食吃人。列国的人知道后，便设陷阱捉住它，用钩子拉到埃及。母狮盼着它回来，眼见指望落空，便又养育一头幼狮，使它成为雄壮的狮子。它出入狮群，学会了捕食和吃人。

暴虐的君王辖制穷人，如咆哮的狮、觅食的熊。

你的居民强取豪夺，欺压贫困的，虐待寄居的，无法无天。

我的子民中有恶人，他们像捕鸟人一样埋伏等候，设下网罗陷害人。

你不要答应他们，因为他们有四十多个人会埋伏在半路，并且还起誓说，‘不杀保罗就不吃不喝’。他们现在已经准备就绪，就等你答应了。”

恶人拔剑张弓要消灭穷苦人，杀戮正直人，

因为祂保护贫穷的人，拯救他们脱离置他们于死地的人。
