One who becomes stiff-necked, after many reprimands will be shattered instantly— beyond recovery.

“ Do not harbor hatred against your brother. Rebuke your neighbor directly, and you will not incur guilt because of him.

One who rebukes a person will later find more favor than one who flatters with his tongue.

Also, regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our dear brother Paul has written to you according to the wisdom given to him.He speaks about these things in all his letters. There are some things hard to understand in them. The untaught and unstable will twist them to their own destruction, as they also do with the rest of the Scriptures.

Nathan replied to David,“ You are the man! This is what the LORD God of Israel says:‘ I anointed you king over Israel, and I rescued you from Saul.I gave your master’s house to you and your master’s wives into your arms, and I gave you the house of Israel and Judah, and if that was not enough, I would have given you even more.Why then have you despised the LORD’s command by doing what I consider evil? You struck down Uriah the Hethite with the sword and took his wife as your own wife— you murdered him with the Ammonite’s sword.Now therefore, the sword will never leave your house because you despised me and took the wife of Uriah the Hethite to be your own wife.’“ This is what the LORD says,‘ I am going to bring disaster on you from your own family: I will take your wives and give them to another before your very eyes, and he will sleep with them in broad daylight.You acted in secret, but I will do this before all Israel and in broad daylight.’”David responded to Nathan,“ I have sinned against the LORD.” Then Nathan replied to David,“ And the LORD has taken away your sin; you will not die.However, because you treated the LORD with such contempt in this matter, the son born to you will die.”

Leave them alone! They are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who scouted out the land, tore their clothesand said to the entire Israelite community,“ The land we passed through and explored is an extremely good land.If the LORD is pleased with us, he will bring us into this land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and give it to us.Only don’t rebel against the LORD, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land, for we will devour them. Their protection has been removed from them, and the LORD is with us. Don’t be afraid of them!”While the whole community threatened to stone them, the glory of the LORD appeared to all the Israelites at the tent of meeting.

and it was announced to the king,“ The prophet Nathan is here.” He came into the king’s presence and paid homage to him with his face to the ground.

King David then said,“ Call in the priest Zadok, the prophet Nathan, and Benaiah son of Jehoiada for me.” So they came into the king’s presence.

The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ There is still one man who can inquire of the LORD, but I hate him because he never prophesies good about me, but only disaster. He is Micaiah son of Imlah.”“ The king shouldn’t say that!” Jehoshaphat replied.

But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face because he stood condemned.For he regularly ate with the Gentiles before certain men came from James. However, when they came, he withdrew and separated himself, because he feared those from the circumcision party.Then the rest of the Jews joined his hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy.But when I saw that they were deviating from the truth of the gospel, I told Cephas in front of everyone,“ If you, who are a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel Gentiles to live like Jews?”
